Flying.
The unfettered feeling of lifting off the ground with no physical assistance is, in a word, exhilarating. Feeling the air rushing past as you hurtle through the sky at speeds only dreamed of by others is one of the most amazing things a person could experience, especially one who was normal for most of her life before an accident gave her the ability to soar above the clouds.
Dreams of flying have been a part of mankind since we looked up at the sky and asked ourselves "what is up there"? We now know that there is so much more beyond our little blue marble in the vastness of space, and yet, we still want to fly farther, go faster, reach further towards the mysteries that elude us.
It all started with a question that humans seem to be very good at asking... "What if...?"
The Greeks had a story about a man and his son who made wings to escape their prison, but flew too close to the sun, and so crashed back to the Earth, making the moral of the story that man should not reach too far for things that are in the power of the Gods. Now, our super heroes have the powers of Gods among men, and in a lot of ways we are still asking what if with each of them.
What if...a woman was blown up, and nanites gave her fantastic powers to control the quantum state...? What would happen? How far would such a power go? What all could it do? What would it do to the person that has the power?
Not all of those questions have been answered completely, but the story of Lady Quantum continues so that more what ifs can be.
However, one thing is certain...
Flying kicks ass.

This was a little set that I cooked up using the Iray Worlds set from DAZ. Combining that with the Iray water shaders and a couple different layers, I managed to get some decent reflections and waves. I had thought that LQ would be reflected as well, but the angle didn't reflect her.
